Bad headlines or scarehead? news that isn't news stuff that no one will be talking about next weak. flavor of the day/weak untill the next headline bumps it of the front page. Why pictures? I'm lazy pictures are easy to find and easy to post. So I'm back using Bittornado. Keep it simple stupid. I don't feel like debugging azureus. So when in dought go with what you know. Bittornado works good for me on linux so thats what i'm going to use. -------------------------------- So I still can't find any good java aps. what is java good for other than buggy web2.0 aps.

Java [april] --------------- I still can't find any good java apps. - I will keep looking. - Did google finaly fix youtube? - My YouTube pages are in sync now. I still need to edit my music page. embeding video uses up to much ram on my pc. I can use pictures instead and link to youtube. Youtube vlogs break my browser. my poor browser is being tortured. I'm I the only one who thinks YouTube user should remove some of the junk in their user profiles page? @#$%^*!@#$%^&*^$#@! Clean your ugly user profile pages.

It took me a while to find the correct download from java.sun for my linux computer.

Once i downloaded the file I realy did not know what to do with it.

I try to follow their directions but I did not get it to work so i tryed something different.

I downloaded a older version and copied the older version
to my opt directory and made a simlink of the plugings for my firefox brwoser - "from my browsers plugin directory ".

well that worked better then when i tryed it the first time
without the symlink "dah" nothing workd.
but with the symlink "dah" the test on SUN's site worked. So what was left do do was test

opera did not work right away.

For opera : go to preferences / advance / content and then
" java options..."
java options : now you got to point opra towards your java install directory and that should work.

I got the old version of java to work so I retried the newer version of java and got it to work also.
If i would just read the instructions it would of been much easier me. :-)

Well I perfer the opt directory for non essential apps so I put
the new version of JAVA their as well.
and linked the newer version of java to my newest version of
Opera and it works ok.

WARDCRAFT : youtube [ Psycic Powers ] - Thats freeking crazy. - The other day I b*tched on my blog about youtube falling apart and how they need fix what ever it is thats making their data base out of sync and their dead out dated links. bla bla bla this video has been removed by user / DMCA . - And today April 20th 2007 their all about system Maintenance. - Ya well is it to late to fix their system? Is googtube falling apart before or eyes? youtube stomped all over Bleach today and yesterday they wasted no time deleating videos. I watched Bleach 122 today it was good and read the manga for the first time. I kind of like the manga alittle but whats messed up is that i'm hooked ad i will probly keep reading and end up spoiling my adiction to the anime. spoilers suck. whats the point in wathing is you know the out come . " psycics must have a boring life." - " thats why their so crazy they over compensate." - " I don't need the drama youtube... we must remove the phycic link we made , kill two chickens and call me in the morning. Youtube is badly out of sync
If you use youtube a lot to upload videos and add to
favorites they take forever to update and sync together.

Web 2.0 does not scale well.

If youtube can fix them self up i would use it more often.
But I don't like waiting six hours for them to proces the video.
And waiting a couple more hours up to a day for them to sync the user page just feel
lame.

DMCA copy rights: it's no fun when the music videos you upload get deleated.

Why is there not a list of music video you can't upload ?
Like a "black list".A list of Known music video and such that have been ordered removed.
PROVIDE a data base user can check before uploading.

Why do some of my music videos get deleated but not the others when I know their all copyrighted by some corporate /
record company/publisher / artist? And why do companies dislike free advertising for their product fucking uptight assholes.

Does youtube use a human interface to delete videos are is it some kind of bot that just randomly monitors and deletes videos ?

A Random Review of Lost.

I like lost.
the stories are not allways good but
it's one of the best looking tv shows.

to watch Lost.

Some of the plot is starting shape up,thats good.
This last ep filled in some more of the blanks.

I like the back stories.
Lost is the best mystery on TV.
Unexpected thing tend to hapen on Lost
but it's not completly random.
there is a plot.Thing are not explained
all up front.Lost does not spoon feed you a simple plot.
Things take time to unfold.
and when they do unfold "WOW."
Last week John Lock blew up the sub and joined the others.
Freaky:
Lost has some freaky subplots.

Shrinkto5 ? gone.

Wardcraft: Shrinkto5 ? were did shrinkto5basic go? - www.shrinkto5.com no longer has shrinkto5 on their site. some one asked me how to rip DVD's and I told them to google shrinkto5.exe. But it looks like the group that made shrinkto5 "sold out" and made a run for the money like the guy who made "dvdshrink.exe" - I had a copy of the file on my computer and so I tried to email it but yahoo rejected the file. I think because it was a "*.exe" file. so I used tar to make a compressed archived file and yahoo rejected that file to. So instead i uploaded the file to rappidshare and emailed the link to my friend. I told them they would have to extract the file with a program "Winrar". I don't think they downloaded the file because they didn't call me back are email me and say thanks. windows users if it's not easy they give up to fast. - I use linux for surfing the internet ,but I allso Keep a windows computer around for DVD backups and cheap printers that need windows drivers. i liked dvdto5basic but it failed to back up "ROCKY " and a few other sony DVD's so I used "RIPit4me" on Rocky. RIPit4me : uses dvddecrypter and dvdshrink. first it makes a playlist for dvddecrypter then it runs dvdshrink. after that I use nero oem to burn a dvd. the nero oem came from the dvd burner i got form walmart. - I tried some free no name burning soft ware once but my computer chrashed when i used it so i delleted it. For windows computer I like Nero. - And for linux computer K3B. K3B for music cd's and DVD movies . K3B is easy to setup and use. But for data cd's and avi files i like "CDW". - CDW: is small linux cd burning front end GUI for command line burners. I use cdw because it opens fast. CDW is a little difficult to set up at first.It not instinctive like K3B and other burners, but if you dig into google, it should start to make sence. I'm to lazy to burn from command line so i like some sort of GUI. - I also liked to use use CDW or cammand line " bash" for blanking cdrw's K3B sucks at blanking cdrw's rewritable disks. so i had to use CDW or command line. - The next time I rip a DVD I hope it's not another sony dvd and i hope they don't keep using lame encryption tactics to fool ripping programs. - "COPYRIGHTS ?" I don't care if you own it back it up. Back it up.
