Opera9.52 aug-2008 up and running.

(opera9.52 linux) test post. hello world. 1/ spell checK works OK - more or less. 2/ posting to blog working OK. 3/ you-tube dot com worked OK. * 4/ ( cached pages still sucks) at wardcraft.bloGspot.com cached pages make reposting edits fubar. cached pages still cuase blunders FOR rediting , respellchecking and reposting. all still still sucks. * I have to double check everthing. everthing looks OK so-far but i can't tell the difference between this one and the last two opera9.50 and opera9.51 all feel the same # could it be a windows thing and not realy a linux update thing.

I still can't get opera to play nice with my blog postings and spell check. ( test post) ( opera9.5.1 / linux version ) 1/ I turned the cache down to 4MB and turned off auto cache . I don't know if that will fix any thing but hopefully it will.

olympics ( swimming who cares )

some of the so called sports look more like a hobby than a real sport. hobbies include swimming and gardening

Opera 9.5 still sucks.

Opera does a crap job editing old bloGspots post. ( blog editing is sloppy) The cache pages keeps re-posting misspelled words. Blogspot and Opera browser 9.5 do not work well together because of cached pages. (work around ). delete the cache because the F5 key is not working correct . the old opera did not have a problem with this. I could post and re-edit with out cached pages screwing up. ~ I need to do a check of ( opera:config ) setting to see if there's a fix in the config setting some were.

stupid Google . It's not very hard to trick Google. any one can complain to Google AdSense and blame a blogger of violating Google AdSense policies. ~ ( adult content ) A lot of things can be accused of being adult content even if it's minimal and just a random post . ~ Google gives in to censorship. ask china about censorship. ~ Google AdSense emailed me once and told me i had three days to remove one of my post and if i failed to remove my post AdSense account would be suspended. I didn't remove my-post completely but i did remove AdSense from my account because i didn't like being censored by Google are gamed by creeps like Obama supporters." opera:config

~/.qt/qtrc is were qtconfig saves settings for qt aps. but aps like opera ignores most of the font setting which left me with small fonts on the opera web-browser menu and bookmarks. ~ but there's a work around. 1).open opera. 2). Type opera:config into opera's url bar. 3).then change the font size for menu. 4).save and restart opera. All done. Now opera is usable again for me. I don't like small fonts. Now i can use my 1024x768 desktop settings and I don't have to switch back to 800x600 just to see big fonts.

I use icewm for my desktop. I'm not a big fan of desktop environments like KDE and GNOME. I spent all day googleing gtk fonts size before findind a couple of forums that pointed me in right direction to ajust my gtk1 and gtk2 fonts because my fonts on aps like firefox2 looked to small when my display was set to 1024x768. When my desktop 800x600 the font size looked normal size but the 800x600 display was killing my eyes. so i had to make the change to 1024x768 to kepp my eyes from falling out of my head. now if only i can fix my QT aps because they still have small fonts. i have QT3 on my system so far i have only found tips for QT4 aps damn google has failed me .
