LOST is back on TV

January 31st 2008... This season LOST will only have 8 epsodes because of the writer strike. LOST episode 1 new season 2008. It was okay but I'm not realy hyped for the new short season. *.Nothing new was really reviled. The new season premier felt to much like a recap episode. Nothing new happend. *predictions for the next episode of LOST. 1). ever one cries because Charlies dead. 2). Jack and Lock have a staring match 3). Lock wins the staring match because he's bad ass and crazy pluss Jack is kind of emo wus that gots issues. 4). They don't get rescued NOT yet. the chick John Lock thrue a nife at died so they can drag the rescue out longer by building up more trust issues. "That scheme it getting king of old." ------------------------------------ (?). I don't know what happens next. When LOST starts a new season up it usaully takes a few episodes before it starts movie. Last season the first couple of epsisodes weren't verry good just a bunch of recap stuff.but the season got better after a few shows in and i think thats what can happen this new season of 8 episodes. Only 7 more episodes is not a lot to work with... Lets all thank the writers strike for ruinng this new year of 2008 TV Schedule. Jaunuary 2008's schedule was a bust lets hope Febuary 2008's schedule is better

TRUMP verses LOST

I think Trump had a better show this night.

The Apprentice.

1).This show is one of the few well produced reality shows on TV. 2). and the cast is good this season It's all about having a good cast. " gooffy ass celeb ego FTW." 3). The fake tension on the Apprentice was better than the recycled tension on LOST. LOST didn't have not nearly enough John Lock on this night. LOST had to much Hurrly This night. Trump beats Hurlly... But i think John Lock or Kate or Sawyer beat Trump in the future. ------------------------------ (?) Two good shows overlapping and i don't know witch one to watch and i don't have a damn TIVO. I can maybe watch the Apprentice the next day on the internet. I missed the first hour of the two hour Apprentice special because of LOST. I saw the last hour of the Apprentice and think i would of liked to of seen the whole think. (?) One of the most confusing board meetings ever. This post took longer to write then a thought it would it's late and i'm sleepy now. i'll hit spell check in the morning and finnish the editing the draft tomorrow. good night and fair well.

1). I really hope it gets back on track. When it left of it was pretty good. 2). Damn only 8 episodes this season not sixteen episodes becuase of the fucken writers strike. Fuck is it a waste of time? January-2008 * TV reviews for the month of January. January has realy sucked for TV watching.

--> Was on again and off again. The month of January was to eratic. can some one please stick to a damn schedule.

--> for LOST and it's schedule. LOST will be another on again off again teaser. ABC is good for not be very consistent with their schedule. Their show are randomly scheduled, which kills viewing interest when theres so many other atractions now with the-online-world of the internet.

SUPER BOWL is_not realy about true competition it's about money and hype that creates a social event.

XviD mENCODER settings for anime.

1). I Have a video thats needs to be encoded to play on a hardware dvd/divx player for my TV. I don't wont the player cutting of the hardcoded english subtitle text. So the video needs to be padded.
2). Set top box Hardware dvd/divx certified players can play back (generic mpeg4 avi) video files... If you use a supported codec.

CODEC : msmpeg4 = DIV3 *ffmpeg *MEncoder. 
CODEC : DIVX  = DX50 * MEncoder.
CODEC : XVID = XVID *ffmpeg *MEncoder.

3) So i try using MEncoder to transcode some anime. ffmpeg works better for me... But heres a look at MEncoder for some verity.

AUDIO ==> mp3 96kbs
CODEC ==> XVID
RATE ==> 23.976 frames per second
SOURCE ==> DB BLEACH anime XVID not padded avi video.

LOw REZ DivX setting -- with mencoder ************************************* The slow computer * EDITION. ************************************* 1). For ripping DVD movies on a slow pc. I rip the video to a low rez generic mpeg4 using mENCODER.
2). I use mENCODER on my linux box. 3). I do a low rez single pass on the DVD with mENCODER. I'm just going to use the low rez DivX outpute video as a low rez screener for my TV ... So i can pute the DVD away. 4). A HI REZ copy takes two passes to encode to mpeg4 and it's slow. I can make complete DVD copy in the same amount of time on my windows box. 5). I'm not trying to backup the FULL DVD... i can do that on my windows XP box with ripit4me if i would like a fULL DVD BACKUP. 6). So lets try mENCODER to get a generic DivX - mpeg4 AVI video file that will play back on my set top box dvd/divx certified player.

-sws 1 not as good as ( sws 2 ) but is faster on my slow pc.
-ffourcc DX50 DX50 is a old DivX video codec vtag header: players use vtag info for picking the rite play back video codec. DX50 works on alot of hardware dvd/divx players.
