Krita is a photo editing app for ( KDE office ) that runs on linux.

It looks a lot like GIMP, so it's easy to learn if you allready know how to use the gimp.

krita looks a lot like gimp. but Krita's gui looks a little cleaner .

Krita feals more easyier to use than the GIMP from  my non-expert point of view..

The GIMP can be a little hard to use at times for a layman.

(plugins) GIMP has a lot more plugins than krita. but Krita is little smaller and faster. (choice) It's nice to have another app to choose from. GIMP is goob but i like having Krita in the mix as well.

I don't like gimp but i don't like photoshop either. I don't do alot of photo editing so i can live with using the gimp. (whats up baller? poser wanabe?) How many people who buy $100 hight top basketball sneakers can play basketball like an NBA ALLSTAR? You look good but you still suck baller . Just Having the $100 cross trainers are not enough to make you a real player. Stuff like real skill and real talent are the main factor. (mushy bonker brains) People that "over pay" for programs like photo$hop and think they are now a Professional photo editor are bonkers. (more metaphors) Just becuase you buy a thousand pair of golf clubs does not meen that you can play golf. ----------------------- I hate every thing.
