old school emelfm filemanager... bsetbg wallpaper...

emelfm rocks it old school on my linux debian (lenny/testing/2009 ) emelfm is ugly but easy to trick out. 1). get emelfm from freshmeat 2). get (libgtk1.2-dev) from debian so you can compile (emelfm) gtk1 dev will provide all the needed old (gtk1)dev kits if you install using

NEXT --------------------------- I use ( emelfm ) to test different wallpaper on my desktop. all you need to do is add bsetbg and then add the a button to emelfm. bsetbg is part of the blackbox package ### apt-get install blackbox ####

warning bsetbg can screw up your skype video

-------------------------- NEXT Don't use (emelfm2) because emelfm2 sucks. emelfm the old one is much more flexible. the old emefm gtk1 has a lot of tricks up it's sleeve. Note that ( fxe ) is all so a good choice for a small light weight file manager.
