Youtube is trying to update their
site again .

This the last time i post about youtube-broken
it's going to always be broken.

So i'm over the fact that Youtube is broken.

Java [april] --------------- I still can't find any good java apps. - I will keep looking. - Did google finaly fix youtube? - My YouTube pages are in sync now. I still need to edit my music page. embeding video uses up to much ram on my pc. I can use pictures instead and link to youtube. Youtube vlogs break my browser. my poor browser is being tortured. I'm I the only one who thinks YouTube user should remove some of the junk in their user profiles page? @#$%^*!@#$%^&*^$#@! Clean your ugly user profile pages.

It took me a while to find the correct download from java.sun for my linux computer.

Once i downloaded the file I realy did not know what to do with it.

I try to follow their directions but I did not get it to work so i tryed something different.

I downloaded a older version and copied the older version
to my opt directory and made a simlink of the plugings for my firefox brwoser - "from my browsers plugin directory ".

#ln -s /opt/jre1_5_0/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so

well that worked better then when i tryed it the first time
without the symlink "dah" nothing workd.
but with the symlink "dah" the test on SUN's site worked. So what was left do do was test
out a couple of games and then go test http://ustream.tv

firefox worked ok.
ice weasel worked ok.
opera did not work right away.

I had the right plugin for but opera ignored the plugin

opera : neaded to be setup first to use java.
For opera : go to preferences / advance / content and then
" java options..."
java options : now you got to point opra towards your java install directory and that should work.

test java by turning it on in your options and head over to .

I got the old version of java to work so I retried the newer version of java and got it to work also.
If i would just read the instructions it would of been much easier me. :-)

Well I perfer the opt directory for non essential apps so I put
the new version of JAVA their as well.
and linked the newer version of java to my newest version of
Opera and it works ok.

I played some of the free games and I diidn't like them much.

Digg.com had some links to sites that play old nes
games I gave that a try and got bores real fast.
I have most of those game already for more playstaion and my sega dreamcast.

I haven't used my dream cast in a long time but I have
disks with better games than those internet sites .

nescafe is a java app that play old nes games.

WARDCRAFT : youtube [ Psycic Powers ] - Thats freeking crazy. - The other day I b*tched on my blog about youtube falling apart and how they need fix what ever it is thats making their data base out of sync and their dead out dated links. bla bla bla this video has been removed by user / DMCA . - And today April 20th 2007 their all about system Maintenance. - Ya well is it to late to fix their system? Is googtube falling apart before or eyes? youtube stomped all over Bleach today and yesterday they wasted no time deleating videos. I watched Bleach 122 today it was good and read the manga for the first time. I kind of like the manga alittle but whats messed up is that i'm hooked ad i will probly keep reading and end up spoiling my adiction to the anime. spoilers suck. whats the point in wathing is you know the out come . " psycics must have a boring life." - " thats why their so crazy they over compensate." - " I don't need the drama youtube... we must remove the phycic link we made , kill two chickens and call me in the morning. crushed under it's own bloated weight.

Youtube is badly out of sync
If you use youtube a lot to upload videos and add to
favorites they take forever to update and sync together.

Web 2.0 does not scale well.

If youtube can fix them self up i would use it more often.
But I don't like waiting six hours for them to proces the video.
And waiting a couple more hours up to a day for them to sync the user page just feel
lame.

DMCA copy rights: it's no fun when the music videos you upload get deleated.

Why is there not a list of music video you can't upload ?
Like a "black list".A list of Known music video and such that have been ordered removed.
PROVIDE a data base user can check before uploading.

Why do some of my music videos get deleated but not the others when I know their all copyrighted by some corporate /
record company/publisher / artist? And why do companies dislike free advertising for their product fucking uptight assholes.

Does youtube use a human interface to delete videos are is it some kind of bot that just randomly monitors and deletes videos ?

I never know what the final video will look like after they unleash their trained monkey on my video.

I still dowload video and save them to cd after I transcode them to XVID or vcd.
But if youtube is going to become a web 2.0 bloated monster
I'm not going to upload videos.

And youtube favorite list - it just updates to slow I end up using
my bookmarks they work so much better.

Youtube has to many features they don't know how to manage them all.
some times less is more maybe they should build a youtube-light that has less social feature
and better video modes.

For me it's about the video not the social stuff.
combinding the video streeming with the social aspect
is a web 2.0 nightmare when the scale of the site grows to big.
